The wait is almost over! We are about to embark on Operation Win, Joker Ball or whatever other name you have for it. The name that we use is COLLEGE FOOTBALL. The season is officially underway with some Thursday night games and now with under 24 hours to go until the UK UL showdown we can hardly contain our excitement. The only thing that would make it sweeter is if kickoff was at Commonwealth Stadium. Not to worry though our Cats will be back in their house in one short week. Good luck to the team tomorrow, we can’t wait to see our boy Randall Cobb make Louisville defenders look silly all day long. GO CATS! Rivalry Week

Do you hate UofL? We think hate is such a strong and ugly word. Do you dislike the Cardinals? Maybe so. Do you want your Kentucky Wildcats to beat UofL at every possible opportunity? We think we already know the answer to that one. Rivalry week is here and we are playing our biggest rival. The anticipation is building and it is an exciting time for the Wildcat faithful. Today concluded a successful pre-season trip to Canada for the Wildcat Basketball team, beating Windsor 104-75. Our newest Cat’s, Knight and Lamb, looked very very good. Miller is also starting to emerge as the upperclassman leader. Now we are all aware that this trip was played without some very talented players (Jones, Kanter and Vargas) and are excited to see these guys wearing the Kentucky blue and white uniforms at Big Blue Madness this year. We hoped you enjoyed watching some early basketball as much as we did. Now on to Commonwealth Stadium for some Joker-ball! Basketball In August

Our Coach Cal is awesome! After the mass exodus of our stellar class from last season, we all thought “Yea we’ll get some good recruits, but we probably won’t be as good as last year”. Well it is our opinion that our fearless leader, Cal, just set us up to have another basketball season to remember. After pulling in the number one recruiting class in the nation I think we can all agree that this guy is one heck of a recruiting machine. Below is the current list of our top incoming Kentucky Wildcat recruits as ranked by Rivals.com: #3 Enes Kanter #6 Brandon Knight #13 Terrance Jones #21 Doron Lamb #33 Stacey Poole Eloy Vargas (Florida transfer who was #26 in his recruiting class) We know we still have a high energy football season to play, but we are extremely excited to see these guys wearing a Kentucky basketball uniform.
